Super Universal Tractor Oil Extra
High performance Super Tractor Oil Universal (STOU) lubricants
Super Universal Tractor Oil Extra are high performance multi-purpose SAE 10W-30 and 10W-40 multigrade Super Tractor Oil Universal (STOU) lubricants. They are specifically designed for use in tractor crankcases, transmissions, final drives, wet brakes and hydraulic systems.
- The Super Universal Tractor Oil Extra fluid range is specifically designed for use in engines, transmissions, rear axles and hydraulic systems of agricultural tractors and associated equipment where a “Super Tractor Oil Universal” (STOU) is required. Applications include tractor CVT transmissions, used by manufacturers such as Fendt. They may also be used in applications calling for a “Universal Tractor Transmission Oil” (UTTO). It is not recommended in heavy-duty powershift transmissions where a Caterpillar TO-4 fluid is specified – for these applications, use a product from the Ursa TorqForce range
- Super Universal Tractor Oil Extra fulfils many of the requirements of the GL-4 specification, in particular those relating to the low speed-high torque conditions that are typical in agricultural applications. However it does not fulfil all of the high speed-low torque requirements of the GL-4 specification, and so is not recommended for on-highway applications
- Super Universal Tractor Oil Extra may also be used in mobile hydraulic systems and in mobile or stationary diesel engines. It is not suitable for use in all modern high-performance engines - please check the minimum requirements in the vehicle’s handbook
- Formulated for multipurpose service in tractor crankcases, transmissions, final drives and hydraulic systems, reducing the need for multiple lubricants and possible misapplications
- Reliable friction modifiers assist smooth, quiet wet brake and power take-off clutch operation, minimising squawk and chatter
- High performance low temperature fluidity aids rapid lubricant circulation during cold start-up, helping prevent equipment wear
- Robust shear stability performance contributes to viscosity retention throughout fluid service life
- Robust oxidation stability helps prevent in-service oil thickening, harmful sludge, lacquer and deposit formation and helps promote resistance to the formation of acids and potential bearing corrosion
