Designed with synthetic base stocks and ashless technologies, Clarity Synthetic Hydraulic Oil AW is a premium performance hydraulic fluid, formulated to offer improved protection, high production output, and fuel efficiency in mobile and stationary hydraulic equipment.
- Clarity Synthetic Hydraulic Oil AW is recommended for a wide range of hydraulic equipment where anti-wear, extreme pressure and anti-corrosion properties are required, such as high thermal stress or contamination by water. Special additives are incorporated to provide oxidation stability, water separation, foam suppression, and protection against wear, rust and corrosion
- Clarity Synthetic Hydraulic Oil AW is formulated with a high viscosity index (VI) to improve hydraulic response time and increase operating temperature range
- In laboratory efficiency testing, Clarity Synthetic Hydraulic Oil AW provided up to 8% improvement in overall hydraulic pump efficiency when compared to a typical monograde hydraulic oil such as Hydraulic Oil AW (a lower VI product with VI <105)
- Clarity Synthetic Hydraulic Oil AW is designed to meet or exceed the performance requirements of conventional anti-wear hydraulic oils, especially in severe, high-output applications such as axial piston pumps, while providing an additional level of safety in case of leaks or incidental discharge to the environment
- Clarity Synthetic Hydraulic Oil AW is a long-life lubricant, with a longer oxidation stability life (ASTM D943, Turbine Oil Stability Test) than conventional hydraulic fluids. A longer oxidation stability life equates to longer service life, which can improve the customer’s bottom line. This level of oxidation stability is especially applicable in high efficiency (high speed, high temperature, high output) applications where severe stress is placed on the hydraulic fluid
- Improved productivity was shown in side-by-side excavator tests of up to 6.2%. Improved fuel efficiency was shown in excavators and in plastic injection machines of up to 4.5% and 5%, respectively. Comparisons were to a typical single grade hydraulic oil
- Conventional anti-wear hydraulic oils formulated with metal-containing performance additives may persist in the environment in the event of leaks, and thus reduce environmental pollution and waste water-treatment costs
