High performance synthetic compressor lubricant
Cetus HiPerSYN Oil 220 is a synthetic compressor, bearing, and gear oil recommended for air compressors, especially portable and stationary rotary, vane, and screw compressors, industrial bearings and gears that require an R&O type synthetic gear oil.

- Cetus HiPerSYN Oil 220 is designed for applications with wider operating temperature ranges as compared to non-synthetic oils. The higher viscosity grade products are especially effective in high temperature applications, such as soot-blowers, where reliable thermal and oxidative stability is required
- Cetus HiPerSYN Oil 220 also offers protection against the formation of oxidation by-products and acidic materials which may eventually cause deposits and varnish, rust, oxidation, and foaming. It has very good demulsibility characteristics allowing quick release of moisture and helps minimise entrained air, which could otherwise result in reduced lubricant film thickness and potentially lead to pump cavitation
- Cetus HiPerSYN Oil 220 is approved by Volvo as an extended drain drum eccentric oil in road machinery for all soil compactors. The drain interval has been extended to 3000 hours. It is formalized in the technical service bulletin (SB 160 COS 116)
